Google Chrome for windows gets new material design and improved battery enhancement updates

Google chrome browser for Windows has finally got its much awaited material design update. The new Chrome 53 also brings the big improvements in power consumption and other performance improvements. The new update will use less battery and processing power for video playbacks which will help a lot of Windows laptop users.

With battery and performance improvements the new Chrome 53 also brings some noticeable user interface changes. The new update brings HiDPI improvements with flatter design and color emoji support for Windows 10 users that you will notice in tabs and navigation user interface. The incognito mode now comes up with full dark themed user interface.

Microsoft and other browser developers have mocked Chrome's battery performance for years and it is good to see Google is finally doing something about it. If you are a Windows user you can update to the new Chrome 53 version by going to Settings > About > check for updates.

Stay tuned for updates.
